Design Engineering Intern

Job Description

As a Design Engineering Intern at Fracktal Works, you will be part of a dynamic team working on cutting-edge 3D printing and manufacturing projects. You will gain hands-on experience in design, prototyping, and problem-solving, contributing to real-world applications

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

    • Assist in the design and development of 3D printed parts and assemblies.

    • Create detailed design drawings and 3D models using CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).
    • Collaborate with experienced engineers to understand design principles and best practices.
    • Conduct research on emerging 3D printing technologies and materials.
    • Support in prototyping and testing of designs.
    • Contribute to documentation and project reports

      Qualifications:

      • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Design, or a related field.
      • Strong foundation in engineering principles and CAD software.
      • Interest in 3D printing, manufacturing processes, and design.
      • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
      • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
      • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
      • Preferable experience working in a student project team/Club.
