Software and Embedded Systems Engineering Intern

Job Description

As a Software and Embedded Systems Engineering Intern at Fracktal Works, you will gain hands-on experience in developing and implementing software and hardware solutions for a variety of applications, including 3D printing. You will work closely with experienced engineers to learn about embedded systems, IoT, and electrical engineering principles. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and testing embedded software and hardware applications.  
  • Write and debug code in Python and C++.  
  • Experiment with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontroller platforms.  
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware components.  
  • Learn about electrical components, circuits, and soldering techniques.  
  • Assist in prototyping and testing of electronic circuits.  
  • Learn about version control systems (Git) and project management tools.  
  • Contribute to open-source projects and hackathons.  

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, or a related field.  
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C++.  
  • Basic understanding of embedded systems concepts.  
  • Interest in hardware, electronics, and electrical engineering.  
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.  
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.  
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.  
  • Preferable experience working in a student project team/Club.
