Application Engineer

BANGALORE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers by troubleshooting their 3D printing issues and providing solutions.  
  • Assist in the development of new applications for 3D printing technology by collaborating with the sales and engineering teams. 
  • Conduct training sessions for customers on 3D printing technology, software, and hardware. 
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to test new materials and processes to improve the quality of 3D printing output. 
  • Evaluate 3D printing products and services, and provide feedback to the engineering team on areas for improvement. 
  • Maintain a deep understanding of 3D printing technology and the market, and provide regular updates to the sales and marketing teams. 
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to showcase 3D printing technology and build relationships with customers and vendors. 
  • Develop technical documentation, training materials, and application notes to assist customers in using 3D printing technology. 
  • Work with the sales team to provide technical support during the sales process, including product demonstrations and customer visits. 
  • Coordinate sale team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information. 
  • Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material. 
  • CAD modeling client and in-house. 

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Min 1-3 years’ experience with 3D printing technologies (FDM and SLA/DLP/SLS) in a commercial/industrial setting. (Freshers or Interns are welcome)  
  • Hands-on experience in operating and maintaining 3D print / industrial equipment  
  • Demonstrated experience in the project lifecycle to include design and engineering, printing, post-processing, and testing for form and function.  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills  
  • Excellent facilitation, consultation, and Influence skills  
  • Grasp of technology trends in specifically those influencing 3D printing  
  • CAD Software: SolidWorks/ Fusion 360, Autodesk Eagle  
  • Analysis: Ansys Workbench- Static Structural Analysis, Minitab   
  • Editing: LaTeX- Document preparation system   
  • Programing Languages: C/C++, Python   
  • Operating systems: Windows, Linux  
  • University degree in Engineering, or equivalent fields.  
  • Strong experience in the field of engineering will also be considered.  

Compensation: Salary Range: INR 4 - 5 Lakhs per annum
