India's Premier 3D Printer Manufacturer
Fracktal Works designs, engineers, and manufactures 3D printers in Bangalore, India — from desktop precision machines to production-grade industrial systems. Every printer is built in-house, from the ground up. No imported kits. No rebadging.
An Original Equipment Manufacturer, Not a Reseller
Most “manufacturers” in this market import and rebadge machines. Fracktal designs, builds, and tests every printer at its own facility.
Built from the Ground Up
Motion systems, firmware, and electronics are developed in-house — not sourced from a generic reference design and relabeled.
Make in India, Verified
Design, assembly, and calibration happen at our own facility in Bangalore — not outsourced, not imported as a kit.
Direct Engineering Support
Because we build the machine, our engineering team can support it — no reseller layer between you and the people who designed it.

Founded by Engineers, for Engineers
Fracktal Works was founded in 2013 by Rohit Asil and Vijay Raghav Varada, engineering students at the Manipal Institute of Technology working with the Robomanipal robotics team. Building their own robots meant they needed 3D printers they could actually afford — so they built their own.
That printer became a company. Over a decade later, Fracktal designs and manufactures every machine itself, from compact desktop systems to large-format industrial printers.
3D Printers Engineered for Real Production
Three families, one design philosophy: real specs, not adjectives.

Snowflake

Accuracy: 50um X/Y, 5um Z
Materials: ABS, ASA, PLA/PLA+, PETG+

Julia
Build volume: up to 250 x 250 x 300 mm
Print speed: up to 200 mm/s
Materials: PC, Nylon 12, Nylon CF, TPU & more

Twin Dragon
Build volume: up to 600 x 600 x 400 mm
Print speed: up to 500 mm/s
Materials: PC, carbon-fiber nylon & composites

A Growing Family of Indigenous 3D Printers
Snowflake, Julia, and Twin Dragon are our desktop and dual-extrusion lines. For industrial-scale production, Fracktal also builds Volterra — a heated-chamber industrial FFF printer for engineering-grade materials like PEEK, ULTEM, and carbon-fiber nylon — with an SLS platform in development.
Accessories Built for the Same Standard
Print quality depends on more than the printer — Fracktal also builds the accessories that keep materials and beds print-ready.

MDS1 Material Dryer
Dries up to three 1kg spools (1.75mm or 2.85mm) at once, with smart sensors that protect hygroscopic materials like Nylon, PETG, and TPU from moisture damage.

PrintStick
Temperature-responsive bed adhesive — grips while the bed is hot, releases clean after cooling. Water-soluble with zero residue, good for 50+ applications per bottle.
Fracktory — Our Own Slicing Software
Every Fracktal printer ships with Fracktory, our in-house slicer built alongside the hardware. It’s part of why Fracktal is a complete manufacturing solution, not just a machine supplier.
