Boilerplate: Fracktal Works designs and builds FDM 3D printers in Bengaluru, India, and has done since 2013. The range runs from the Snowflake desktop machine to the Volterra 400 industrial platform, alongside the Fracktory slicer, a twelve-material database with published properties, and an on-demand manufacturing floor. With IISc’s FSID, and under a Rs 8.5 crore Ministry of Heavy Industries grant, Fracktal co-developed the Apollo 350 SLS, India’s first indigenously designed and developed polymer SLS 3D printer, launched at IMTEX 2025. Founder and CEO: Vijay Raghav Varada, a Manipal Institute of Technology graduate; seed-funded in November 2024 by Mohandas Pai (Aarin Capital) and Dr Ranjan Pai (MEMG Family Office).
