The bed decides. Below 80 °C, Standard holds. At 80 °C and above, the plate runs hot and the polymer shrinks hard as it cools. That is where Plus earns the difference. Bed ranges are Fracktal’s own published figures for each material.

How to Apply PrintStick in Four Steps
Shake, then push
Shake the stick. Press the felt head onto the cold plate until it wets.
One thin pass
Swipe once across the print area. The 30 mm head lays an even film in one go.
Heat and print
Run the bed at the temperature the filament asks for. The film grips as the plate warms.
Cool, lift, wipe
Let the bed cool and the part comes away by hand. A damp cloth clears the plate for the next job.
Why It Holds, and Why It Lets Go
A solvent-carried polymer. The carrier lays a thin, even film and flashes off in seconds. What holds the first layer is the polymer, and a polymer film is why the cleanup is water.
Grips hot, releases cold
The film bonds to the first layer while the plate is at temperature. As the bed cools the bond lets go and the part lifts off by hand.
Water wash-off
A damp cloth lifts the film straight off the plate. No scraper, no isopropyl bath, no scratches in the sheet.
Zero residue on the part
Nothing bakes onto the underside. The base of the print comes off as clean as the plate it sat on.
Every build surface
Glass, smooth and textured PEI, BuildTak and magnetic spring-steel flex sheets, heated or not.
Protects the plate
PET-G bonds to bare PEI hard enough to take a divot out of it. The film is a release layer between the two.
50+ prints a bottle
One thin pass per print. A 50 ml stick covers a desktop plate more than fifty times, which puts a few rupees on each successful build.

The two things every 3D printer bed glue has to do are hold while the plate is hot and let go when it cools. Most workarounds only do the first.

Put It to the Test
Steep angles, long overhangs, awkward geometry: the prints where the first layer has the most to hold on to. One pass of PrintStick, the full job, then a cold bed and a part that lifts off by hand.
