Min temp error is caused when there is no rise in temperature detected by the machine, even after current is supplied by the machine to heat. This can be caused by a faulty thermistor or heater cartridge that fails to heat up. When the thermistor fails to give a temperature reading to the MKS, the in-temp error is triggered.
When min temperature error is shown, along with that, the component is mentioned.
Bed for bed min temp.
0 for Nozzle 0
1 for Nozzle 1
Note: The First nozzle is mentioned as Nozzle 0, and the second nozzle is mentioned as Nozzle 1.
Min Temp error for bed-
1. Take a multimeter and check the resistance of the Thermistor. If the thermistor is giving incorrect readings, then the thermistor is damaged and needs replacement.

Remove the thermistor wire

Check the resistance on the Resistor. The resistance should be around 90 Ohms
otherwise.
If the thermistor is giving correct readings, then the wiring is faulty. You need to check the wiring of the Thermistor till MKS. There will be some connectivity issues that will hinder the transfer of thermistor data to MKS. Fixing the connection will solve the issue.
Min Temp error for Nozzle:
1. Take a multimeter and check the resistance of the Thermistor. If the thermistor is giving incorrect readings, then the thermistor is damaged and needs replacement.

The thermistor reading will be around 90 Ohms in a proper thermistor. The thermistor should be checked at room temperature
2. If the thermistor is fine, check the heater cartridge. If the heater cartridge is damaged, replace the heater cartridge

hotend will give 3.6Ohm reading for 12V heater cartridge and 14 Ohms for 24V heater cartridge
else
If both the hotend and the thermistor are giving correct readings, still you are getting the error, then the wiring is faulty. You need to check the wiring of the Thermistor till MKS. There will be some connectivity issues that will hinder the transfer of thermistor data to MKS. Fixing the connection will solve the issue.
Check our article on checking connectivity to check connectivity.
If after checking all the components and connectivity also if same error continues, then the MKS is faulty
